Suggestion

it would be nice to have a walking or a biking trail much like the Del Rio trail, perhaps on a smaller scale, and plenty of trees.

Having a lot of trees/planting more trees is important and can help support the City's effort in doubling our canopy by 2045.

Wetlands are important and should be preserved!

Having a park and open spaces is really important! The nearest city park is William Land Park and D8 residents have to commute to that park to experience that - it would be great to have something similar to that. Having both walking and biking trails are important too!

Not only is it important for the site to contain bicycling trails and other infrastructure within the site, it is potentially in the middle of a gap in the Cities trail network. The City recently completed the Del Rio trail which extends the safe low stress bicycling corridor along the Sacramento and American Rivers all the way to Folsom. Making a connconnection into the neighboring jurisdiction of Elk Grove should be a regional priority.
