Suggestion
Hi! Will this be extended all the way through Norwood, to where the elementary as schools are? This is especially important as there are a lot of pedestrians that walk on this area.

Include more beautiful and sustainable landscaping along Norwood Avenue’s sidewalks.

Greener walkways with flowering plants, trees, and shrubs offer both beauty and privacy. It will make the corridor more inviting for residents and visitors alike with cared for landscaping.

These improvements will help transform Norwood into a more vibrant, livable, and community-centered street.

I am expressing concern that the current project boundaries end at Silver Eagle Road does not include the remainder of Norwood Avenue.

South of Silver Eagle, Norwood Avenue remains an active and vibrant community hub that is home to supermarkets, restaurants, laundromats, small businesses, and an elementary school all along the avenue. This area also serves a large population of Second-English and Non-English-speaking residents and families. It is deeply concerning that many of these community members were not adequately informed or included in the planning process due to language barriers. Such exclusion is not just a communication gap, but it can and will affect the physical and economic livelihoods of people whose daily lives are shaped by city planning decisions.

I strongly urge the project team to revisit the project scope and ensure that mobility and safety enhancements extend along the entire Norwood Avenue corridor. If there are any future projects or phases being considered for the remaining sections of Norwood Avenue, please consider this note for your planning.

Roundabouts will be a good addition as long as the plants (not like trees) do not obstruct the view of the street on the other end. I suggest low level planting, like flower bushes or dry landscaping plants.
A roundabout at Morey Ave would be very beneficial
